When it comes to paying parking/red light tickets or automated speed enforcement citations in the city of Chicago, you have several payment options. Pay online via the City of Chicago’s website, pay in person at one of their payment centers, or mail a check/money order.
Payment Plan Options
The City of Chicago provided options to avoid additional fees and penalties. If you’re unable to pay the full amount at once, there are payment plan options.
To enroll in a payment plan or get answers to questions, contact the Department of Finance, Monday-Friday 8 AM-4:30 PM. Places to pay your Chicago parking tickets include:
- Online: Pay for your parking tickets through the City of Chicago’s website. Provide your ticket number and license plate number and pay using a valid credit or debit card to pay the fine.
- In-person: Make a payment at any City of Chicago’s payment centers located throughout the city.
- By mail: Make a payment by mail by sending a check or money order to the City of Chicago.
